In the action/drama TV series Vegas, private eye Dan Tanna (Robert Urich) lives in a warehouse apartment behind the Desert Inn in Las Vegas, Nevada and drives a classic Thunderbird.

Other Vegas series characters include: Tanna's boss, the owner of the Desert Inn, Phillip Roth (Tony Curtis); Tanna's sexy secretary Bea Travis; and Bobby "Binzer" Borso Dan's assistant; Lt. Dave Nelson is Dan's contact in the Vegas Police Department.

Many of Las Vegas' stars appeared on the show including: Dean Martin, Kim Basinger, Melanie Griffith, Kim Cattrall, Abe Vigoda, Sid Caesar, Muhammad Ali, Barbi Benton, Wayne Newton, Tanya Roberts and Lorne Greene.

ABC aired 68 one hour episodes of the TV show Vegas on Wednesday nights from 1978 to 1981.
