I would like to purchase a copy of the episode with the college engineering students that took standard car parts and assembled a car they said got 90 mpg, then put it on a machine and it actually got 89 mpg.

On January 24, 1983 an episode aired featuring my brother in a Rubik's Cube contest, Brian Shipman. I was 11 at the time and would love to purchase a copy of this episode, as to look back and watch as an adult.

Two men from North Carolina had developed this technique and a short video clip was shown. The video really did appear 3 dimensional. There was a considerable amount of screen flicker. I remember the episode of That's Incredible where two Engineer's from El Monte, California had invented a device in which a car could run on water. They were going to leave the show and drive the Chevrolet pickup truck to Washington, D.C. The program That's Incdible had sent two of the devices to two separate Universities (Arizona and Pennsylvania) for testing. The report confirmed the results. Hydrogen Powered car that was driven across the US.

The show had a car that was featured on many episodes while it was being driven across the US(coast to coast).
Fueled only by "WATER"!!! Wonder what happened to the car and/or that episode??

3D TV INFO FOUND!

I remember this episode, I was a freshman in high school, & my friends & I were really impressed by it, & by Cathy Crosby.

It always bothered us that we never heard about the 3D technology that was demonstrated.

I googled around a LOT & finally found this term: Visidep

A new show!!!

I remember the show well. I need the episode where a guy was rescued on the Ocoee River in Tennessee. I now work there as a guide and would love to show the old footage. It aired in the Fall of 1983.

BUT!!!! after reading these comments why the he11 doesn't a tv producer just simply do a where-are-they-now? show with old T.I.! footage?

Seems to easy. Just go back and read some of the interesting questions people have asked about these odd stories & characters the saw once upon a time. B-)
