TV Show Plot For Roseanne

The TV show Roseanne was one of the most successful series of the late '80s and early '90s. It garnered top ratings and won numerous Emmy and Golden Globe awards.

The Roseanne series was the brain child of Rosanne Barr, and evolved from her "Domestic Godess" stand-up comedy act and subsequent HBO special.

The charaters of the Roseanne show were: Roseanne Conner and husband Dan (John Goodman); her sister Jackie (Laurie Metcalf); daughters Darlene (Sara Gilbert) and Becky (Lecy Goranson, later played by Sarah Chalke); son D.J. (Michael Fishman). Later in the series these characters were added to the household: Becky's husband Mark (Glenn Quinn); Darlene's boyfriend David (Johnny Galecki); and finally a new baby for Roseanne and Dan.

The Conners were a blue collar family who often worked low paying jobs, and struggled to make ends meat.

The Roseanne series often dealt with issues that made network executives nervous like the young son's masturbation, daughter's birth control and breast reduction surgery as well as gay and lesbian issues.

ABC aired a grand total of 222 episodes of the TV series Roseanne from 1988 to 1997.

I love this show and i'm only a teenager I love how it depicts the true struggles of a family to make ends meet. This show has inspired me to be tough and plus I love roseanne i think she is a great comedian and very cunning with her work

I LOVE ROSEANNE

Roseanne is my favorite TV show of all times. It was a show about how real family life is. I have watched every episode!!! I think of her as a wonderful mother on the show with a great family. I wish she would appear on TV a little more. She is awesome!!!

I LOVE ROSEANNE

This is just about my favorite show. I look forward to watching it every night. It always makes me feel better. I;m hoping to get all the series dvds. It's just amazing.

I am a 25 year old girl. I grew up watching this show and to this day it is my favorite show. I have a special talent for being able to find it playing on any channel at any time. My boyfriend hates it. I LOVE ROSEANNE!!!

I love Roseanne, one of the best show's ever.
I wish it was tv over here in the uk, although I have every season on dvd.

The woman who played the character of Bonnie is named Bonnie Bramlett or Bonnie Sheridan. Same person known by two difforent names. She has recorded a bunch of CD's. Hope this helps.

I love Roseanne, she is an awsome actress and comedian, I love watching her show Roseanne, I\'m a huge fan and is one of my favorite tv shows along with all my other favorite tv shows, I watch her everyday. She reminds me of myself, I\'m exactly like her, im sarcastic and a smartass, and I love how she is like that to her husband and children and every one around her lol! I\'m trying to find her complete espisodes series on DVD and hope to find them.

best damn comedy series EVER!!

oh i am so extremely sad ROSEANNE is being takin off CMT television..every night at 10 pm is my time to laugh i meen really full out belly laugh.NO movie or series has ever made me laugh an apperciate true comedy as ROSEANNE. the way that show is produced directed and the charecters are amazing but realistic that you can totally realate to it. it teaches you that life shouldnt be so serious. ALL of roseanne characters are hilarious ..darlene is a spit image of rosey..lmao!! i am goin to miss it..ill be sa roseanne fan till the day i die !!
