The TV series Hotel resembled several other 80's Aaron Spelling produced, guest star type shows of the time like Love Boat and Fantasy Island.
The Hotel series characters included: Victoria Cabot, the wealthy woman who watched over the hotel on behalf of her sister-in-law, Laura Trent; Peter McDermott, the smooth, bearded General Manager; Christine his assistant and later love interest; Mark, the likable public-relations person; and Billy Griffin, the hotel's security director; Julie ran the hotel's information center; and a recently married couple Dave and Megan served as the bellhop and desk clerk.
Notable Hotel series guest stars included: Morgan Fairchild, Shirley Jones, Liberace, McLean Stevenson, Peter Marshall and Lynn Redgrave.
