The 80's TV show Hart to Hart chronicles the adventures of amature detectives in the series Jonathan Hart (Robert Wagner), the CEO of the worldwide corporation Hart Industries, and his wife Jennifer (Stefanie Powers), a freelance journalist.

TV Show Plot For Hart to Hart

Hart to Hart was created by Sidney Sheldon of I Dream of Jeannie fame. The two were joined by butler/driver Max (Lionel Stander) who referred to the couple as Mr. & Mrs. H.

The Hart to Hart pilot was 1979's two-part pilot ("Hart to Hart"), co-starring Roddy McDowall and Stella Stevens as devious doctors and Wagner's future wife, Jill St. John, as a wealthy patient. Wagner's wife Natalie Wood also has a cameo in the pilot.

Hart to Hart aired on ABC for 110 episodes over five seasons and inspired other popular 80's detective shows as Remington Steele and Moonlighting.

There were a total of eight Hart to Hart made-for-TV movies which aired on NBC.
