For Love and Honor was based loosely on the 80's movie An Officer and a Gentleman. The series featured two men in charge who were at odds with each other; Captain Wiecek (Gary Grubbs,) who is tough on the 88th airborne, and the fair but tough Sergeant Allard (Cliff Potts.)

Other characters on the series included: Master Sergeant Bell (Yaphet Kotto), a combat tested Vietnam vet; Captain Engel (Shelley Smith), the division's medic and love interest to Sergeant Allard; Corporal Pavlik (Rachel Ticotin), who lives in a barracks full of male soldiers; the womanizer named Scammer (Pete Kowanko); aspiring boxer Duke (played by Keenan Ivory Wayans); mid-western farm boy Utah (Tony Becker); and Lucas (Eddie Velez), the hot-blooded Hispanic soldier.

For Love and Honor
I was an extra in this Pilot and TV Series. I was one of the Marines from Marine Barracks Seal Beach. I would like to know how I could get a copy of this show. I would like for my kids and grandkids to see it. I had a lot of fun working on this with all the actors.
