TV Show Plot For CHIPS

The TV show CHIPS told the story of motorcycle cops Poncherello and Baker, who cruised the highways of the Los Angeles area. Together they stopped speeders and car thieves, helped stranded motorists, and assisted in ivestigating crimes.

What a fun, entertaining, family-friendly show. These guys were the coolest. I just ordered the first and second season on dvd. Can't wait to watch. Waiting for the rest of the seasons.

I'm looking for season 3,4,5, and 6 of one of my favorite shows from when I was growing up in the 80,s. I can't believe they're not on the shelves yet. I ordered the complete series of CHiPs from Amazon.com, but quality wasn't very good at all. I still wanna purchase the last four seasons, but I can't find them anywhere. I don't get it. This is one of the best shows of all time. It's a shame!

they need to release seasons 3-7 to the public this was one of the best shows that was not only entertaining but also set a good postive influnce to the kids of that era me being one of them they showed us how to respect the older generation and respect friends and neighbors alike they need more shows like this today instead of the garabge they have on today...

Norwalk in CHiPs

I'm not sure where to get verifiable information, but for a long time this note has appeared in Wikipeadia's article on Norwalk, California (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norwalk,_California):
"CHIPS (70'S) was taped on Imperial Hwy and Studebaker RD"

That statement was replaced by someone today with an entry about the Monk television series. I suspect the poster did not mean to replace the CHiPS entry. If you can verify that the Norwalk entry is correct, I will be happy to edit it back in. Thanks!

WAITING AND WAITING!!! WHEN???

I already have the first 2 seasons, how long before they release the rest of the series??? Every time I am in the store, I look for any other season of CHiPs, and am currently looking for the CHiPs 99 Movie on DVD..

Was there a CHiPs premiere movie before the series ran?? When will that be available??

No, there was no preview movie, and the series ran for 6 seasons, not 7. CHiPs 99 has never been released on DVD. It's unknown when the rest of the series will be released but with a new CHiPs tv series and motion picture on the way, it's bound to be soon.

If you go on you tube Estrada talks about there was a massive battle on who had the rights for the tv show and am sure its still ongoing they are probably holding out for a high price and waiting for Warner Bros to bite, hope they do I got both seasons, why dont they make shows like starsky and hutch and Chips no more crazy

Olha eu vou te contar,toda a vez que eu procuro uma serie anos oitenta eu passo a mair raiva, por que fica essa frescura ,só coloca duas temporadas,que palhaçada, eu já passei por isso com a super maquina (knight rider)agora com o chips poxa serie desse tipo tem q ter todas as temporadas ,é o tipo de serie pra fámilia .
Distribuidoras de plantão por favor não façam as coisas pela metade tem muita gente como eu q assistiu essa serie nos anos oitenta ,e com certeza quer completar sua coleção vcs ganham o dinheiro e o pessoal vai ficar feliz por ter a serie completa pensem nisso!
