Plot

The main character of the movie White Nights is Nikolai Rochenko, a Russian ballet dancer who decides to defect from his country.

However, during a trip to Europe, his plane is forced to land in Russia. There he is retained by KGB officers. After spending some “White Nights” in his homeland, he decides to return to the West again.
