Plot

Summer Rental movie main character, Jack Chester (Candy) is an overbooked air traffic controller that decides to have some quality time with his family and take them on vacations to Florida. As soon as they arrive they find out that the place they rented is a decrepit shack near a public beach, with all that that could mean. From them on matters just keep getting worse by the minute.

The climax scene in the movie Summer Rental is a completely humiliated Jack Chester who ends up involved in a quarrel with a local yachtsman and is forced to race him in order to regain his pride and family’s respect.
