Movie Plot For Stand and Deliver

Jaime Escalante (played by Edward James Olmos) is a Math teacher at a Hispanic high school in the movie Stand and Deliver.

Escalante teaches kids who are gang members and he believes in them to the point that he develop a method for them to ace their classes. His hard work paid off as the kids exceed what was expected of them, to the point when they were being accused of cheating in the movie Stand and Deliver.

Writing a comment - Life is tough for all, not just Cuban. If you think it is too tough here, go to Cuba. I am sure Castro would treat you so much better!

Cool movie - Perhaps your teacher should spend less time showing movies about leadership and more time teaching you how to spell. As you stand now, leadership is quite a leap.

Stand and Deliver - The noblest profession? That above police, firefighters, military? You really should not be teaching until you can get a real perspective on life.

Study - That is great that you are doing so good in math. Perhaps a course in punctuation would also be beneficial!
