’Round Midnight follows the story of a jazz sax player Dale Turner (played by Dexter Gordon), who had a performance in Paris. As good as a performer that he was, there was a man by the name of Francis Borler (played by Francois Cluzet) who believed that Turner deserved more recognition. Francis sacrificed a whole lot to get Turner focused on his music and not drugs and a strong friendship follows.
