Plot

When Edna Mae McCauley’s (Ellen Burstyn) car accident claimed the life of her husband, she was able to experience the after-life for a brief moment in the movie Resurrection.

Edna returns from the after-life with a special power to heal others. Her boyfriend, Cal Carpenter (played by Sam Shepard), is all against her healing techniques since it does not employ religious teachings and Cal’s anger about this may just cost Edna her life in the movie Resurrection.
