Plot

When rich girl Judy Benjamin/Goodman (played by Goldie Hawn) finds herself as the widow and bride on the same night, she enlists in the military to take her mind off her depression in the movie Private Benjamin.

Judy survives a very comedic boot camp and is later transferred to NATO headquarters where she meets and falls in love with Frenchman Henri Alan Tremont (Armand Assante). Would he be the man for her? In any event, Judy is determined to stay in the military, as it is more exciting than her civilian life in the movie Private Benjamin.
