Plot

In the movie An Officer and a Gentleman, Zack Mayo, a young naval officer, signs to the Navy Flight School, one of the hardest institutions within the Navy.

While in training, Zack meets Paula, a working class girl that falls in love with him. Although at first he isn’t very convinced about a long term affair, the death of his friend will make him reconsider his new relationship. In the end, An Officer and a Gentleman finishes with one of the most remembered scenes in the history of motion pictures.
