PlotAlan Swann (played by Peter O’Toole) is scheduled to perform on a 50s talent show in the movie My Favorite Year.
When Swann shows up drunk, it isn’t what the show’s junior writer, Benjy Stone (played by Mark Linn-Baker), was expecting. Enter King Kaiser (played by Joseph Bologna), one of the other performers on the show who wants to have Swann thrown off the show.
