Melvin Dummaís (Paul Le Mat) life canít get any worse. He loses his jobs quite often and is just unlucky with everything that he does in the movie Melvin and Howard.
But, there is some good in Melvin. In fact, there is enough good in him for him to save Howard Hughes (played by Jason Robards), an old man who was involved in a motorcycle accident in the movie Melvin and Howard. When Howard dies, Melvin gets part of his estate.
