Major League Movie
Movie Review for Major League
If you like baseball with a tinge of humor, you’ll love this 80s movie. A baseball team sucks at the game, but could they improve?
Rachel Phelps (played by Margaret Whitton) inherits a baseball team in the movie “Major League.” She hates Cleveland and wants to take the new team to Florida but the contractual obligations with Cleveland are holding her back.
In order for Phelps to take the team to Florida, the attendance rating has to be low and the only way this can be achieved is if she hires a few bad ball players in the movie “Major League.” The team plays bad and are also in bad shape but when they learn of Phelps scheme, her plan is about to backfire.
