Opposites do attract in this 80s movie drama. Two cell mates share different views on life but have utmost respect for each other.

Kiss of the Spider Woman DVD


Luis Molina (played by William Hurt) shares a prison cell with Valentin Arregui (played by Raul Julia) in the movie Kiss of a Spider Woman. Molina is a former drag queen while Arregui is a political prisoner. Both Luis and Valentin are total opposites and while they are in jail, Luis shares fantasy stories with Valentin who fantasizes about his own girlfriend when Luisí stories are told.

Luis is sent to share Valentinís cell by the warden (played by Jose Lewgoy) to extract information from Valentin about his political involvement in Kiss of a Spider Woman. But Luis had no plans of falling in love with Valentin.
