Science projects should remain in the lab in this 80s movie as comedy and adventure abound - a scientist gone crazy shrinks things and mistakenly shrunk his kids.
Scientist Wayne Szalinski (played by Rick Moranis) has a penchant for inventing things that never seem to work right in Honey I Shrunk the Kids.
He invents a shrinking machine and his kids accidentally get caught in its line of fire. In Honey I Shrunk the Kids, The Szalinski kids, Amy and Nick (played by Amy O’Neill and Robert Oliveri), are accidentally dumped in the thrash by their father whose science machine has shrunk them. Finding their way back to the house is tougher than they thought, since they encounter giant insects and other perils along the way.
