Plot

Harlem Nights is set in 1920s where a business-owner Sugar Ray (played by Richard Pryor) runs an illegal casino. There are a lot of gangsters that want to see him go out of business and they would stop at nothing.

In the movie Harlem Nights, Eddie Murphy stars as Sugar Ray’s partner and son, Quick. Quick wants to fight off the gangsters that are threatening Sugar Ray’s business, but Sugar Ray has other plans for them.
