The movie Excalibur is about a magical sword of the same name. The sword has been buried in stone by Uther, who is awaiting the next man to pull it out to be crowned king.

After Uther dies, the sword is extracted from the stone by his son Arthur, who later becomes King in the movie Excalibur.
