Plot

In A Dry White Season, Donald Sutherland interprets the role of Ben Du Toit, a South African school teacher who learns that his gardener, a black man, is killed while investigating the death of his son.

Highly upset by these events, he hires a human rights lawyer that can help him with the case. Unfortunately, the court rules against them. This is when Ben Du Toit decides to take more aggressive actions, presenting a civil suit against the police.
