A must see science fiction 80ís movie. In Aliens, the planet of the xenomorphs has been colonized by humanity. But, just when they think everything was ok, all contact is lost.

In Aliens, Ripley is found floating in space after several decades in stasis. During the debriefing, she learns that the planet discovered by the Nostromo has been colonized by humans. Although she tries to alert The Company, they dismiss her warnings.

Suddenly, all contact is lost. Worried about what may have happened, The Company decides to send a group of marines along with Ripley to investigate the matter. Unfortunately, the investigators of Aliens will have to fight more than one enemy.

Due to the lack of time, the Aliens film composer, James Horner, had to use some samples of two films in which he had previously worked: Star Trek II and Star Trek III.

After the final credits of Aliens, viewers can hear how an alien egg sac is opened, which leads into the next movie in the Aliens series.

Academy Awards:

Sigourney Weaver won for Best Actress In A Leading Role for the role of Ripley in Aliens.

James Horner won for Best Original Score for Aliens.
