Although the song Think of Laura was used in the soap opera General Hospital, it was actually written about a friend of Christopher Cross' girlfriend named Laura. Laura had been accidentally killed by a stray bullet while riding in the back seat of a car.

I absolutly love this song I lost a small child at the age of 2 in Dec of 1982 it was sudden from a car accident with her grandma. I cry every time I hear this song. my daughters name was Sarah. is there a way to get a copy of this song with the name changed from Laura to Sarah. I would love that if it would be possible. If not I still love the song just the way it is.

i love this song and it really melts my heart every time i heard that playing, i started to love this song when i heard that singing by the acoustic band of the aldgate city, and my boyfriend loved this also.

I so love this song

It always goes to people whom we loved so dearly and lost. I lost my boyfriend over an accident and indeed every now and then I can remember him and all those times shared laughs and tears we shared. It always bring me happy tears and feel the love all over again.

Think Of LAURA

When my life is over on this earth, I plan to have this song played at my funeral. I want to be remembered as I was and not as they see when I'm laid to rest. The joy I had and all the good times I've shared with those I came in contact with and how they changed my life and I like to think I brought some kind of joy and happiness to theirs. This song touch me deeply and I've treasured it every since that first time I heard it. Remember the Memories we make now are just deposits we can always withdrawal from when we find ourselves sad and lonely.
