Boz Scaggs -Boz Scaggs only released two albums in the 1980s, the first was Middle Man. The album climbed to number eight on the Billboard album charts in 1980 and yielded two singles. “Breakdown Dead Ahead,” reached number 19 and “Jojo,” reached number 17.... Stray Cats -In London, the band met up with producer Dave Edmunds, who was well known as a solo artist. He offered to work with the Stray Cats. Their first album, produced by Edmunds, was released in the year 1981 on the Arista Records label. The album featured three hits, namely “Stray Cat Strut,” “Runaway Boys,” and “Rock This Town.”... A Taste of Honey -Later, Janice enlisted guitarist Hazel Payne for the band in 1976. They were discovered by producer brothers Larry & Fonze Mizell when the group played at a wedding that they were attending.
