Tierra Artist Bio and LyricsThe ‘80s band Tierra played a distinctive style of Latin rhythm and blues music. They were founded in the late 1970s by trombonist and percussionist Steve Salas, guitarist Rudy Salas, keyboardist David Torres, and percussionist Andre Baeza – all former members of the band El Chicano.
The line up of Tierra was rounded out by reeds player Bobby Navarrete, keyboardist Joey Guerra, bassist Steve Falomir, and drummer Philip Madayag. Tierra is perhaps best known for their ‘80s smash hit “Together.” In recent years, Tierra surfaced on the 2001 Kid Frost recording, Still Up In This… They played a cover version of “I’m Still Here” by the Notations. |

Tino is (was?) the leader of top 40 band Luna in Southern California during the late 90's, may still be performing under this name.

Yes I remember Tino when he was with Tierra. they opened for Luis Enrique at the The Greek in Los Angeles. Whatever happened to him. lol!!!
