I met Michael Sembello at an ASCAP meeting at Pearl River Resort in Chactaw MS a few years back. You will never meet a guy as genuinely nice as he is. He told us the story behind the song Maniac. It was a riot. One of the greatest songs of the 80's started out as song about a killer but was quickly adapted to meet the need.
