Leo SayerLyrics More Than I Can Say

David Courtney originally discovered Sayer, and wound up managing him along with Adam Faith. Courtney and Sayer began writing songs together in the 1970s. They scored a hit with the Roger Daltrey song, “Giving it All Away,” in 1973. That was also the year that Sayer launched his own career as a solo artist with the hit single “The Show Must Go On.” Three years later Sayer would record his version of three tunes by the Beatles for the documentary film All This and World War II. The songs were “The Long and Winding Road,” “I Am the Walrus,” and “Let It Be.”

In the latter half of the decade, Sayer moved in to disco territory, thus turning him in to a superstar overnight. He had several hits, including “You Make Me Feel Like Dancing,” “More Than I Can Say,” “Raining in My Heart,” and “When I Need You.”

The albums of Leo Sayer include Silverbird, Endless Flight, Thunder in My Heart, Leo Sayer, The Very Best of Leo Sayer, Here, Living in a Fantasy, World Radio, Have You Ever Been in Love, Cool Touch, All the Best, The Definitive Hits Collection, Live in London, Endless Journey – The Essential Leo Sayer, Voice in My Head, and Leo Sayer: At His Very Best.
