Medeiros began his career by singing on the back of a tour bus on the island of Kauai. He quickly grew to become one of the biggest hit makers of the 1980s. Medeiros is probably best known for his version of the George Benson song “Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love For You,” which made it to the top of the singles chart in the United Kingdom, as well as France and Germany. The track also made it to Number Twelve on the charts in the United States in the year 1987.

Three years later, Medeiros would score another hit in the form of a duet with Bobby Brown. “She Ain’t Worth It” made it to the top of the charts in the United States. Medeiros followed this chart success up with another popular duet, “All I’m Missing Is You,” sung with Ray Parker, Jr.

While he has since faded from the public view, Medeiros nonetheless remains active in music in his Hawaiian home. In Waikiki, Medeiros frequently performs at the Hale Koa Hotel.
