Glenn Frey was most well known as the founder of superstar band, the Eagles. He was born on November 6, 1948 in Detroit Michigan. During the 1980s, Frey released a string of moderately successful albums.

The first album from Glenn Frey was No Fun Aloud in 1982 which peaked at number 32 in the US. The single, “Partytown,” was a number 2 Mainstream Rock single. Also from the album, “The One You Love,” was a number 5 Adult Contemporary single and number 15 Pop single.

In 1984, Glenn Frey released his next album, The Allnighter. This album found number 22 in the US and also broke the top 40 in the UK. The album gave way for two top 40 single, “Sexy Girl,” which was a number 20 single and “Smuggler’s Blues,” which was a number 12 single.

Glenn Frey Released his last album of the 1980s, and his last major charting album in 1988. Soul Searchin’ featured the single “True Love,” which rose to number 2 in the Adult Contemporary chart and allowed the album to climb up to number 36 in the US.
