Diana Ross’ self-titled debut contained one of her most successful songs, “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.” The single climbed up to number one in the US, and number six in the UK.

Diana Ross released her first album in the 1980s when she released, Diana. This album also contained a number one hit, “Upside Down.” In 1981, she would release another extremely famous single, “Endless Love,” with Lionel Richie.

Diana Ross moved to RCA records from her earlier, Motown Records in 1981. She spent most of the 1980s with that label but did not release any more top ten albums. The album, Why Do Fools Fall in Love, climbed to number 15 in the US. The title track charted at number 7 in the US and number 4 in the UK.

Diana Ross still continues to release albums; she released her album, Blue in 2006. So far no albums since the 1980s were as successful.
