Daryl Hall and John Oates Artist Bio and Lyrics
The ‘80s band Hall & Oates, also known by their full names as Daryl Hall and John Oates, first achieved success in the 1970s and managed to become superstars in the following decade. Their music is a catchy fusion of rhythm & blues and rock. They call their style of music “rock & soul.” Daryl Hall & John Oates are best known for their numerous hit singles, including “Kiss On My List,” “Out of Touch,” “Rich Girl,” “Private Eyes,” and “Maneater.”

Most Underrated Music Act Ever
Twenty-nine Top 40 hits, including 16 Top Ten hits--including six Number Ones! Plus their album track "Everytime You Go Away" was taken to Number One by Paul Young, and their 2002 single "Do It for Love" went to Number One on the AC chart. And, IMHO, many of their best songs were never singles. I've seen them 14 times (wish it were more), and they've always delivered. That they've never won a GRAMMY and are not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is inexcusable.

that flushing sound
what is worse than,(if you can imagine),Loggins and Messina,Huey Lewis and the News, and Seals and Crofts? These persons.Yes.This cacophony was blaring from every radio speaker in America,(all the ones I avoided, anyway).Great music to shovel your tv dinner down your gullet with a plastic fork by.These two were as typically dull, pretentious, talentless, clumsy, predictable, and artless as it can get.All that money they made just went up their noses, fueling their delusions of relevance.Boring in the extreme
