In the early 1960s, a folk supergroup was formed. They became known by the names of their members, Crosby, Stills and Nash. They released three moderately successful albums in the 1980s.

In 1982 Daylight Again became a number 8 album for Crosby, Stills and Nash. There were three singles from the album, “Wasted on the Way,” which climbed to number nine, “Southern Cross,” which rested at number 18, and “Too Much Love To Hide” which peaked at number 69.

Crosby, Stills and Nash’s next album, Allies is now out of print but peaked at number 43 in the US. The album contained no notable top 100 singles. Their final release of the 1980s was in 1988 with American Dream. The album served as a reunion for the members, with other former member Neil Young. The album achieved platinum status and peaked at number 16.

Crosby, Stills and Nash continued releasing albums until their latest in 2005 which was a compilation and peaked at number 24.
