Ambrosia Artist Bio and Lyrics80's band Ambrosia's founding members include guitarist/vocalist David Pack, bassist/vocalist Joe Puerta, keyboardist Christopher North, and drummer Burleigh Drummond. The band's first 80's hit was Biggest Part of Me in 1980.
Throughout most of the 70's Ambrosia was a progressive rock band. In 1976, Ambrosia remade the Beatle's song "Magical Mystery Tour" for a movie called "All This And World War II". There's also a soundtrack album featuring other artists doing covers of Beatles songs. Ambrosia's biggest pop breakthrough came in 1978 with the number three hit "How Much I Feel." The band followed this success in 1980 with another number three hit, "Biggest Part of Me," and the number 13 follow-up "You're the Only Woman." The fourth album from Ambrosia, One Eighty, was released in 1980, and changed direction from progressive rock to mainstream pop music. This album earned the band three Grammy nominations, including Best Pop Vocal Group. The title of the album is believed to signal the group's 180 degree change in musical direction. Ambrosia's fifth album Road Island was released in 1982. The album was poorly received by critics and fans alike. In the wake of the album's disappointing performance, the band broke up. I am glad for the existence of AMBROSIA; but I am sad, because I can´t view an excellent video that was retired of You Tube: over the theme NICE, NICE VERY NICE.
I think that this is a marvelous video (identified with somebody washing his hands) for the correspondence between the lyrics and the images!!!
Somebody knows what can i do to find it?
you can see lots of new videos and music!! its a great site
The music in the '70's was pure, songs
you could listen to constantly, music that made you feel good, etc. It's nice to hear that the younger generation today really enjoy Ambrosia and other '70's music.I have 2 grown daughters ( no grandkids) who also love the music of the '70's. Ambrosia is the best with the greatest vocalist (David Pack) ever!
